Announcement: DEC 2001, China announced ' the principles for compulsory certification management' , applied to products related to human life and health, animals, plants, environmental protection and national security. The first CCC catalogue covers all products in 132 categories from 19groups.
Replacement: The new compulsory certification mark ( the CCC mark) will replace two previous certifications: CCIB ( China Comity Inspection Bureau) & CCEE ( Certification of Conformity for Electrical Equipment) .
Implement: The new compulsory certification will be formal implement from May 1st, 2002. From Aug 1st 2003, any products covered by the catalogue can' t be marketed, imported or used for any commercial purpose if not gained the CCC mark. |
